Project: Observing Values and Blocking in Tones
Description: Through additive and subtractive drawing methods, students focus on the perception of light and dark while learning various shading techniques to create several drawings, accurately depicting the differences in value.
Learning Outcomes: Students demonstrate a mastery of drawing from direct observation, applying the vocabulary and concepts associated to observational drawing, and utilize the formal elements and design principles to create unified compositions.
